About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and hands‑on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our newly renovated TownePlace Suites. The ideal candidate has a very strong hotel operations background with proven leadership in front office operations, team building and guest satisfaction. This position plays a vital role in driving Outrageous Hospitality - our company's commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests and meaningful growth for our teams. The AGM works closely with the General Manager to oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations, build engagement, and ensure smooth, efficient processes across departments. In the GM's absence, the AGM assumes full responsibility for the property's leadership and performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee all Front Office operations, including guest service, reservations, and night audit. Maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction scores and employee engagement. Partner with department heads to maintain and continually improve service standards, operational efficiency, and profitability. Manage daily accounting functions, including daily income journals, bank deposits, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting support. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure financial goals are achieved. Maintain compliance with brand, company, and safety standards. Lead, coach, and mentor team members to create a positive, accountable, and hospitality-driven culture. Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve service issues promptly and professionally. Serve as Manager on Duty and assume full responsibility for hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of successful hotel management experience (Department head level and higher) Opening hotel experience highly preferred. Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Preferred Experience Background with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, or Hyatt select service brands. Experience with hotel accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in opening, transitioning, or rebranding hotels a plus.
