The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Paralegal with strong cite-checking and Bluebook experience for an open-ended, temporary assignment with a boutique energy law firm. This is a fantastic role for a Paralegal to take on a challenging role working on niche, cutting-edge matters. Strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist attorneys with preparing and proofreading briefs and pleadings
- Monitor cases and agency filings, prepare reports for attorneys and clients
- Prepare reports on regulatory commission briefings
- Assist with discovery and trial preparation
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in research and litigation
- Demonstrated experience with cite-checking and Bluebook
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
