Job Description Join Oracle's Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Team as a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) focusing on Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS). In this crucial role, you will be at the forefront of securing our global datacenter and facility footprint through cutting-edge Physical Access and Identity Management technologies. You will manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise wireless detection, monitoring, and counter-surveillance solutions in a complex security environment. You will report to the Director of Physical Security Products & Services and play a vital role in developing technical roadmaps, policies, and integrations necessary for achieving excellence in WIDS. Responsibilities Product & Program Oversight Lead the lifecycle management, standards, and feature evolution of all Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS), ensuring seamless integration with other security systems. Craft and maintain product roadmaps for WIDS and wireless analytics, focusing on enhancements that boost scalability, detection capabilities, and compliance. Act as the central hub for WIDS feedback, performance metrics, and ongoing improvements. Training & Enablement Develop and deliver comprehensive technical training, guidelines, and documentation for: Third-party integration companies to assist with hardware installation and best practices. Internal teams responsible for system maintenance and upgrades. Physical Security Operations Center staff for live monitoring and event response. Investigative teams for data retrieval and analytics. Governance & Compliance Create and enforce WIDS standards and policies that comply with corporate security, privacy, IT, and legal regulations. Lead reviews with Information Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure responsible operation of the WIDS program. Remain updated on industry standards and regulations affecting wireless network security, implementing necessary updates to the WIDS program. Program & Project Management Oversee WIDS installation and enhancement projects across multiple global sites, ensuring scalable deployment and cross-team collaboration. Serve as an escalation point for critical incidents, managing post-incident analysis and optimizations. Collaborate with Global Physical Security, IT, and data center teams for technology integration. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a bridge between engineering, vendors, and security operations to ensure effective and adaptable WIDS solutions. Implement vendor management strategies to evaluate and select WIDS platforms. Work with strategic sourcing for timely system delivery and planning. Innovation & Roadmap Development Monitor advancements in wireless intrusion detection and analytics to validate emerging solutions. Integrate WIDS into existing workflows and the overall physical security software ecosystem. Provide subject matter expertise for new vendor selection and proof-of-concept engagements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of program or product management experience in physical security or wireless networking. In-depth knowledge of WIDS platforms and wireless threat analytics. Strong communication skills for delivering technical training and documentation. Project management expertise with a focus on strategic objectives. Experience with Agile methodologies and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of privacy regulations and compliance standards. TSCM and TEMPEST operational experience is a must. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CWNA). Experience in large-scale security deployments in cloud environments. Familiarity with assurance and compliance standards. Hands-on scripting or programming experience a plus. Exposure to advanced security technologies and data retention strategies. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY The successful candidate will report to the Director of Physical Security Products and Services. This global role will involve travel and management of multiple contracted security systems staff. You will work with a high level of autonomy and accountability, making significant decisions affecting the organization’s physical security technology. Your work will have a direct impact on compliance, investigations, risk management, and operational resilience.
