Job Description The purpose of the Fire Life Safety Sales Executive position is to prospect and develop new customers. Customer development includes upselling and multi‑line development of services, providing and negotiating pricing for inspection contracts. ISRs will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Service Manager and Service Operations Staff to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is a key part of our Service Department Team. Responsibilities Pro‑actively engage in making sales calls to new prospective customers to build the Inspection and Service business by adding new customers to the existing portfolio. Make sales calls to current customers to expand our service offering through upsell. Convert construction installation customers into service customers. Create and maintain a sufficient pipeline of activity to meet sales goals. Maintain sales activity records and monitor proposal status. Follow up on pending proposals promptly to explain scope and accelerate sales. Understand company pricing approach and contractual terms. Represent the organization at industry meetings, customer visits and entertainment. Stay abreast of market opportunities and updates to local fire code requirements. Assist the Service Manager with re‑signs of existing customers. Advance industry technical knowledge through training and field observation. Work directly with the Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Service Manager to assess customer relationships and profitability. Qualifications Education, Training, Certifications High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Business or related, preferred. Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements 3‑5 years sales or fire protection industry experience, required. 2 years reading electronic blueprints, and experience with SalesForce, preferred. 2 years operating a computer, Microsoft Office, required. Strong written and oral English communication skills. Other Qualifications Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, required. Must comply with SFS’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements. Frequent travel required, up to 50%.
