Job Overview:
We are a leading manufacturer of structural components for various aircraft, serving major OEMs in the large business and regional jet markets. Our expertise covers multiple segments, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and interior. The Assembly 2 role involves independently and efficiently assembling aerospace structural sections from parts, subassemblies, and components.

Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled assembly tasks without supervision.
- Install units, parts, equipment, and components in structural assembly according to blueprints and specifications.
- Inspect and test installed units for fit, performance, and compliance with standards.
- Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures following blueprint lines.
- Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using measuring tools.
- Follow safety guidelines, use safety equipment, and adhere to safety procedures.
- Follow 5-S procedures and maintain an organized work area.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Mechanical inclination and good manual dexterity.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year assembly experience in the aerospace industry.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Completion of an aptitude test during the interview process.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
