EVS Aide

Job Title: EVS Aide - Housekeeper

Job Description

This person will work in a Janitor role cleaning common areas of the hospital and turning over discharged patient rooms to get them ready for the next patient. Responsibilities include mopping, taking out trash, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms. The role also involves operating mechanical low-speed floor scrubbers, high-speed floor burnishers/polishers, carpet extractors, and wet/dry vacuums. Additional duties include stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors, shampooing carpets/rugs and material furniture, cleaning vents, fans, and other equipment, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping applicable areas inside and outside the facility, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and break rooms, restocking supplies, emptying trash cans and replacing liners, dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture, cleaning windowsills and windows, and maintaining janitor equipment and closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fountain Valley, California.
Work Environment

2:30pm - 11PM (includes weekends), 6:30AM - 3PM (includes weekends). Hospital housekeeping department with over 150 staff. Fast-paced environment, working in and near patient rooms, common areas, stairwells, and elevators.
