Air Freight Specialist:


Coordination of air freight for export; support general office operations whenever needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following:


• Inventory control and export coordination of air freight shipments

• Documentation preparation and presentation to U.S. Customs

• Respond to phone, e-mail, or faxed rate or booking requests from clients, agents or outside sales

representatives.

• Handle quotes and bookings for consignee routed cargo as requested by our agents or USA shippers.

• Coordinate pickups and provide timely quotes for inland as well as airfreight costs that are available in

our system.

• Obtaining estimated costs for unusual cargo such as oversize, dangerous goods and perishables.

• Follow up on cargo arrival for pending inland arrangements.

• Assist in any service requests from customers or agents as required by the line managers in the Air Freight Department.

Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Prior Industry Experience preferred. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general industry documentation/communications. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
