We are looking for a Florida Licensed Psychologist to function as a member of our behavioral health department. The child psychologist will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and psychotherapy to children, and families, as well as psychological and psychoeducational testing for children and adolescents.
They Psychologist will have the opportunity to collaborate with the many other departments to support clients in the Broward area, as well as to coordinate care with other behavioral health providers, medical providers, and community providers as needed.Supervision with the Director of Behavioral Health is required, and an optional group case consultation is provided weekly. Individuals with experience providing trauma-informed care services to children and families, as well as those with experience in child and adolescent testing, are strongly encouraged to apply.
Education: Doctoral level, Florida Licensed Psychologist
Skills and Experience:
Four years of progressively autonomous experience providing individual child and family therapy services and/or evaluation services to children and adolescents. Individuals with experience providing evidenced-based treatments for trauma/PTSD are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, and develop and implement a plan of care as well as to, administer, score and interpret child testing measures.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others

We are a Drug-Free Work Place. This position is contingent upon the completion and passing of a Level 2 Criminal Background check, driver’s license screening, and drug screening. Employment is probationary for a period of 60 days from the date of hire. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time.
Job Type: Per diem employee with malpractice coverage. $75-$80 per hour, commensurate with credentials and experience.
