Job Reference Number: 35585 Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Segment: Corrections Brand: Summit State: Nebraska (US-NE) Join our dynamic team as a Food Service Manager at our Plattsmouth, NE facility This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about leading food service operations in a correctional environment. As a Food Service Manager, you will have the chance to oversee a committed team and ensure that every inmate receives nutritious and enjoyable meals. What you'll be doing: Directing all aspects of the food service department including resource management. Leading and developing a team of associates, while overseeing hiring and training processes. Upholding high standards in culinary, safety, and sanitation practices. Managing the budget, purchasing ingredients, and ensuring financial targets are met. Collaborating with the district manager on the operational aspects of dining services. Responding to customer service inquiries and enhancing client satisfaction. What we're looking for: Must-haves: Minimum two years of experience in coordinating food service operations. Proven background in industrial cooking. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff and executives. Experience managing diverse teams with a focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Nice-to-haves: ServSafe and/or HACCP certification.
