We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager with expertise in wholesale distribution to help drive the profitability and overall performance of store operations in the Tri-Cities area of eastern WA. In this leadership role, you will guide and empower showroom, counter sales, warehouse, and customer service staff to grow revenue and market share with regional construction contractors and residential customers. Essential Job Functions:


  • Lead, train, and motivate branch staff to include sales, showroom, warehouse inventory, logistics, and customer service personnel.
  • Develop and maintain pricing matrices for branch customers, maintaining current information on customers, products, and market conditions.
  • Manage personnel hiring and training, conducting performance and salary evaluations, and employee relations.
  • Maintain profitable business by managing sales revenue, margins, customer credits, A/R aging, and inventory turns against established goals.
  • Regularly review financial performance with corporate leadership team, making proactive adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regional commercial engineering and construction firms and mechanical contractors.
  • Develop annual business plan and budgets, managing branch within the approved plan.
  • Own overall branch KPI metrics of gross profit, revenue, safety, inventory turns, on-time delivery, accounts receivable aging, customer credit, customer satisfaction, etc.


Qualifications include:


  • BS/BA degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of Operations and/or Sales experience in a wholesale distribution environment.
  • 3+ years as Branch Manager, General Manager, or Supervisor in high volume wholesale distribution.
  • Experience or exposure to commercial or residential plumbing supplies, waterworks equipment, hydronics, HVAC, building supplies, irrigation, or construction materials is strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with previous experience managing P&L, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and budgeting is preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ethical leader that empowers employees through establishing a culture of ownership, trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey clear expectations, directions, and goals.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and committed to exceeding customer expectations.
