RN Supervisor Valley View Manor is looking for an energetic and compassionate Nurse Supervisor (RN) for our 82-bed facility located in Norwich, NY. Duties/Responsibilities: Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating all nursing services provided in the facility to achieve desired clinical and financial outcomes. Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Assists in ensuring necessary equipment, supplies, and staffing are available for the delivery of the prescribed resident/patient care. Completes rounds of the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations. Coordinates the care of residents on assigned shift. Demonstrate effective and organized communication with residents, families, staff, and medical providers. Demonstrate ability to solve problems and multi-task under pressure. Requirements/Qualifications: 2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in long-term care setting. Licensed in NYS as a registered nurse. Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as necessary. Knowledge and experience of PICC/IV management, wound vac management, trach care, medical drain management preferred Work Location: One location Work Remotely No
