About the Team Our Strategy Insights and Planning teams partner with clients to design and deliver solutions using advanced data analytics and problem‑solving techniques. The Health Plan and Provider (HPP) team is a growth venture focused on creating value across payer and provider segments, acting like a mission‑oriented start‑up backed by a global firm. What You’ll Do Identify problem statements and break them into smaller components (e.g., issue/logic tree). Develop storyboards and frameworks for workstreams in clear, easy‑to‑understand formats. Work in teams to communicate, collaborate, and motivate. Leverage problem‑solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to client business problems. Assist in structuring and conducting market research and/or desk research to derive insights and contribute to client decision making. Design custom analyses using tools like Excel, Access, Confirmit and ZS's proprietary software. Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations. Develop client relationships with Health Insurance/Health Plan clients and serve as key point of contact on certain aspects of projects. Support program management, conduct regular status updates with the client—risk and issue mitigation— and drive projects forward to meet goals and deadlines. Advance problem‑solving skills and improve ZS's capabilities. What You’ll Bring Prior experience with Healthcare or Health Plans preferred. Health Plan job experience; a PhD may substitute for work experience. Experience with healthcare business processes/analytics strongly preferred. High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative. Strong oral and written communication skills. Empathy, adaptability and high personal impact. Strong attention to detail with a quality‑focused mindset. Self‑discipline for planning and organizing tasks. Aptitude for and enjoyment of team leadership.
