* *Current Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification *
*About the Job:*
* *Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.\\*
* *Is responsible for the administration of all Respiratory Care modalities on all age groups of patients from neonate through geriatric.*
* *Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.*
* *Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.*
* *Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.*
* *Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.*
* *Initiates, monitors and manages patient’s oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.*
* *Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.*
