Your Opportunity with ECG: Senior Analyst or Consultant As a senior analyst or consultant at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our consulting team, working alongside the top professionals in the industry to come up with solutions that shape healthcare. You will join ECG as a general member of our healthcare consulting pool, where you’ll have the opportunity to gain diverse experiences by working across ECG’s four divisions: Health System Performance, Medical Group Optimization, Payer Strategy & Contracting, and Strategy & Enterprise Growth. We are currently hiring a senior analyst or consultant with strong analytical skills to support our physician cash compensation valuation engagements. Experience includes: Designing overall compensation models and providing benchmarking analytics. Benchmarking compensation using national survey data. Analyzing operational and financial performance. Your Responsibilities May Include Senior Analyst Level Conducting research and gathering data from national surveys, proprietary research, client interviews, industries, markets, etc. Building flexible, dynamic financial to forecast trends, preparing scenarios for strategic planning, and/or allocating corporate resources. Analyzing and validating client data. Performing calculation checks on Excel models. Reviewing and compiling financial statements for analysis of historical trends. Assisting with report preparation, documenting analyses. Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with team members and client personnel. Consultant Level Leading appropriate client presentations. Leading information-gathering efforts. Analyzing and synthesizing data to inform client recommendations. Using financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommend executable strategies. Defining project analyses and deliverables. Communicating project progress and seeking input. Developing depth of technical expertise. Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG senior consulting leaders. Taking responsibility for project outcomes. Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff. Identifying opportunities to engage clients on future projects. Learning about ECG’s breadth of solutions and identifying those that reflect personal and professional interests. Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement. Demonstrating the ability to excel at consulting while balancing work and personal life. Acting as an ECG ambassador within personal, professional, and alumni networks. Our Expectations of You Senior Analyst Level Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or other quantitative curriculum 1-2 years of applicable experience Consultant Level Master’s degree in business administration and/or master’s degree in a health-related field preferred 2-3 years of applicable experience Prior work experience in healthcare consulting and/or hospital administration/operations Strong knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills High-impact work experience in accounting, finance, or analytics Proven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects Demonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills Superb verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment as well as fully manage your own time and the overall project timeline Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Ability and willingness to travel as required, with flexibility to meet client needs Job Locations Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, or Washington D.C. The estimated base salary range for this job is $90,000 – $125,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, reflects ECG’s pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) matching program; unlimited PTO; and other wellness programs.
