Position Overview

Join an elite emergency medicine team at a prestigious healthcare facility in Fort Myers, Florida. We're seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to deliver exceptional acute care in our modern, well-equipped ED handling 20,000-30,000 annual patient visits.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care and trauma services
  • Perform critical emergency procedures and resuscitations
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced emergency scenarios
  • Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
  • Supervise and collaborate with ED staff, including APPs and nurses
  • Ensure compliance with quality metrics and patient satisfaction goals
Required Qualifications
  • MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)
  • Current ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
  • Florida medical license or eligible for licensure
  • Epic EMR proficiency preferred
Schedule & Compensation
  • Flexible 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am)
  • Full-time and part-time options available
  • Competitive compensation at $250/hour (1099)
