Job Description:
The Sr. Developer is responsible for the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
This individual will work with the Squad Master to estimate and plan work to meet project and production support timelines.
As a part of an Agile team, they will work in an iterative environment delivering work on time, participate in agile ceremonies, and provide demos on an as needed basis.
With a strong grounding in .net and C#, the Sr. Developer works with the Project Lead to ensure appropriate technical documentation is created and available for project work and production support improvements.
This person will also work with the Systems Engineer and Architects to design and code appropriate technical solutions to ensure they meet industry and C&F standards.
Responsibilities of Sr. Developer include:
Work with Team Lead and Architects to Design scalable products that meet industry and corporate standards
Develop high-value products that are scalable, re-usable and follow best practices
Participate in code reviews
Building relationships across teams, divisions, and groups
Developing prototypes and conduct POCs
Proactively research and look for ways to improve the product
Assist SM in practicing Agile Principles
Coordinate project release planning with SM and team for team specific projects
Assist in technical project release planning and deployment checklist discussions
Work with team lead to create a project deployment plan when necessary
Responsible for creating proper documentation/ updating existing documentation on a regular basis for assigned project/space
Complete technical checklists before a project goes live - as defined by the SDLC process
Work with team lead on website outages or maintenance
Participate in bi-monthly vulnerability scans
Assist SM in practicing Agile Principles
Train users as needed
Fixing bugs and handling production support
Completing assigned work within the budget, timeline and quality expectations
Informing team of issues, scope changes, risk and quality concerns
Proactively communicating status and managing expectations
Smoke testing code changes for proper coding standards and functionality before promoting to QA
What you will do:
Apply standard design/integration patterns including new/complex solutions
Work with Team Lead and System Engineer to research, define and execute system design for projects
Performs other related duties and activities as required
You will collaborate with:
The Sr. Developer works very closely with the System Owner, Developers, Business Analysts and QA within the Customer Relations and User Experience team, in addition to architects and other stakeholders to provide robust, scalable, and user-friendly features.

Minimum 5 years of experience:
JavaScript/jQuery
Deploying code in GitLab
Serverless application design
AWS products and services (API Gateway, Lambda Apps, Beanstalk, S3, Secrets Manager, Event Bridge, CloudWatch))
UI/UX design patterns and workflows for a rich customer experience (responsive design)
Nginx configurations
SASS/CSS and creating customizable style templates
Analytical thinking to breakdown and work through situations or problems
Ability to apply Root Cause Analysis to resolve issues
Ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Partners
Ability to manage time to effectively meet deadlines
Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
Solid understanding of agile delivery methodologies.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent development experience
