We are looking to add an Interventional Cardiology physician to our Cardiology Medicine team at our Huntington VA Medical Center. We are seeking a highly motivated BE/BC Interventional Cardiology Medicine physician, with an unrestricted MD / DO medical license, who shares our commitment to providing excellent care to our US Veterans.

The Hershel “Woody” Williams Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va. is a fully accredited 80-bed acute medical and surgical care facility that provides primary care and specialty health services, including cardiology, PM & R, radiology, GI, neurology, mental health services, women’s health care, prosthetics, bariatric surgery, pain management, palliative care, sleep medicine and more.

Major Duties / Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly Cardiology Clinics
  • Answer inpatient and outpatient consultations
  • Interpret and generate reports of all cardiology procedures
  • Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine – Marshall University
  • Supervision of Cardiology Fellows

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Excellent compensation – Great base salary, based on qualifications, with annual performance pay, biennial market pay raises & annual cost of living pay raises
