We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner interested in the Behavioral Health field to join our team at Renown Health s new Crisis Care Center. This center will provide assistance and resources to individuals in our community who are experiencing mental health challenges and crises.

Position Details:

  • Full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider
  • Dedicated Team: MDs, NPs, RNs, LCSW, Peer Support Specialists, & Security Officer
  • Meet a significant community need and improve access to mental health and addiction treatment by connecting adults to the right care.
  • Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
  • Maintain communication with patients treated at Crisis Care Center for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Formal Academic Affiliation with University of Nevada, Reno School Medicine/Renown

Position Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 2-years minimum experience as an RN required.
    • 1-year of clinical experience preferred as a Nurse Practitioner.
    • Prior experience in the Behavioral Health field or interest in Behavioral Health field.
  • Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.
