Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Oncology Palliative Care

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to join the Oncology Palliative Care team at Providence Oncology and Hematology Care Clinic on the campus of Providence Portland, located in the heart of NE Portland. In this role, you will focus on providing symptom management related to acute and chronic cancer related conditions, assisting with communication and coordination of care, and developing treatment plans under the guidance/direction of medical director. Educates patients regarding their disease, treatments, related drug and treatment side effects and hazards. Outpatient position, full-time at 1.0 FTE 4/10-hour days, Monday to Friday work week, no call required Minimum of 2-years of experience working at Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) in Oncology required; Palliative Care experience strongly preferred Guaranteed salary, generous quality incentive, continuing medical education, and relocation assistance available As a non-profit organization, Providence is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
