In this role, you’ll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on TBM and Kodiak aircraft at a certified Part 145 Repair Station. This is a hands‑on, full‑time opportunity offering competitive pay, long‑term career potential, and the chance to work on high‑performance aircraft in a fast‑paced environment.Position OverviewAs an A&P Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for maintaining airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications. You’ll work with a skilled team, interpreting technical data, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of aircraft fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform airframe, engine, and propeller inspections, repairs, and modifications to FAA and company standardsUse FAA-approved data, including IPC, AMM, OHM, and CMM manualsTroubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and componentsRemove, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as neededOperate power tools and ground support equipmentComplete all maintenance records and work orders accurately and in accordance with Repair Station and Quality Control proceduresInterpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manualsTow, park, and reposition aircraft as requiredMaintain a clean and organized work environment, including routine shop upkeepTravel as needed to support aircraft service requirementsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift/move up to 50 poundsMust be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periodsMust be able to climb ladders and work from elevated surfacesMust be able to work with hands extended overheadQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredFAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate required3 to 5 years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experienceExperience with TBM or Kodiak aircraft preferredFamiliarity with PT6 engines is a strong advantageMust have own toolsBasic computer skills requiredStrong understanding of aircraft systems and FAA complianceMust be eligible to work legally in the United StatesValid U.S. driver’s license requiredMust be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background checkAbout STS Technical ServicesSTS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading companies across aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, and defense industries.
