We are looking for a dedicated Hospitalist to join our team in Minot and contribute to our mission of improving patient outcomes. Job Summary:As a Hospitalist at Trinity Health, you will provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care, facilitate smooth transitions, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily rounds, evaluating and managing the medical care of hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans, progress, and discharge planning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide education and mentorship to medical students and residents.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in North Dakota.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
