CAL Steel & Sheet Metal, Inc is currently hiring HVAC Service Technicians to provide local home services. This position is responsible for troubleshooting and performing repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (i.e., R-134a, R-12, Vapors, Heat Pumps, Air Conditioners) as well as other mechanical and electrical devices used in HVAC systems.
* Complete routine maintenance tasks associated with the HVAC service department.
* Accurately record all repairs performed and submit work orders to the Service Manager.
* Maintain a clean work environment.
* Participate in department meetings to discuss company policies and procedures as well as customer needs and complaints.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or the Service Director.
* Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing HVAC services (e.g., OSHA, EPA) as well as state safety regulations (e.g., IICRC) regarding HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance.
*Requirements*
* High School Diploma or GED.
* Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
* Ability to pass a random drug test
* Ability to read, write and understand English as it applies to working in this position.
* Current/valid EPA licensing
