Job Summary and Qualifications This position is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying innovative technology and data products within the ITG Accelerated Technologies organization and DT&I. The engineer will design and build platforms that enable physicians and clinicians to provide world‑class care. The candidate should design and reason about complex distributed systems, maintain existing solutions, and provide problem resolution for production systems. Strong application development skills are required using ReactJS, Node.js, Vue.js, NestJS (TypeScript), or Python. GCP experience is preferred. Experience with AI‑assisted tooling such as GitHub Copilot, Lovable.dev, v0.dev, bolt.new, or other coding tools is required. Experience with healthcare data and technology is preferred. Major Responsibilities Build life‑changing healthcare technology. Act as a technical expert within AT and project integrations, including requirements gathering, design, development, and testing. Provide insights in requirements validation and feasibility analysis with respect to AT. Design scalable distributed software and communicate architecture using the C4 model. Estimate work effort required in delivering features, keeping AT capabilities in mind. Produce high‑quality, modular, reusable code that follows coding best practices. Design and execute DevOps strategies, driving change management for transformative solutions. Build and maintain automated deployment frameworks (CI/CD). Escalate product issues and risks appropriately and collaborate on solutions. Produce and review enterprise‑level system design documentation, including Use Cases, Architecture Documentation, Service Mapping, Consumer Guide, and transition documentation. Create Service Level Agreements and Supplementary Specifications. Consult on and guide design of software solutions. Apply testing methodologies and drive adoption of best practices. Communicate effectively with stakeholders from business consumers to technical staff. Research and become the SME on interactions with source systems and consumers. Lead troubleshooting activities. Provide after‑hours/on‑call support as needed. Mentor other engineers and direct the performance of programming assignments. Develop software development standards and frameworks. Work with Enterprise Architects on technology evaluation and product selection. Partner with managers on contract negotiation and vendor relations. Interview, hire, and evaluate performance. Perform duties assigned and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred). Seven or more years of related experience. Technology Experience (7+ years) Cloud development technologies—especially Google Cloud Platform. Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, especially Python and SQL. Data engineering experience: architecture for ingesting, transforming, and feature engineering. Understanding of streaming and event‑driven architectures. REST‑based API design best practices. Experience with React and TypeScript. Nuanced understanding of distributed version control. Data acquisition, cleansing, and parsing. DevOps practices and associated tools. Container‑based platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Run. Monitoring applications: Cloud Monitoring, SysDig, DataDog, AppDynamics, New Relic, Nagios, Zabbix. Data science concepts. SQL and database interrogation techniques. Linux command line skills. Agile & Scrum experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA). Healthcare experience preferred. Adaptability Embrace change and see opportunities for learning and growth.
