As a positive result, our hiring requirements remain top-of-mind, with the following career opportunity available:Engineered Wood Material Handler Job Responsibilities:Responsible for EWP Material Handler, which includes, but is not limited to: safety, product quality, communication, and administering company policies and procedures. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Requires a strong commitment to and passion for safety and achieving a zero-incident goal.Engineered Wood Material Handler Job Duties:Cuts product to specificationsBuild loads for deliveryLoad and unload lumber and building suppliesKeeps the lumber yard clean, well-organized, and safeAbility to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.Previous experience using a chainsaw for cutting lumber or materials, preferably in a lumber yard or similar.Load / Unload trucks and make sure each delivery/inbound order or customer pick up is 100% accurateOther duties as assigned Requirements: Preferred Qualifications:· High School diploma or general education degree (GED);· Or 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training with Lumber Yard/EWP· Forklift Qualified· Solid understanding of WMS-RFN· Inventory ControlADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:· Ability to lift 50 to 100lbs consistently · Ability to work overtime on short notice, including evenings and weekends/holidays · Strong Attention to Detail · Basic Math Skills · General Knowledge of hand/ power tools · Ability to complete training requirements on assigned equipment (forklifts, tools, scan guns, tape measures, and all required paperwork)· Ability to work in all weather conditions · Ability to work on your own or as a team concept without causing issues or disharmony to your team. · Ability to Follow Rules & Directions set by Team Leads, Supervisors & Manager Snavely Forest Products is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or protected veteran status.
