Job Description Please note that the role is on-site. Talan provides visa sponsorship for French, Mexican and Canadian citizens. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team and work on IT projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java and be passionate about developing new features on Payment Platforms. Role and responsibilities Manage multiple tasks and use sound judgment when prioritizing Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in building customer-centric products Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and provide deadline estimates for implementing new features Update and maintain documentation for team processes, best practices and software runbooks Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders Must be passionate about technology and engineering Exceptional analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions Ability to leverage technology to deliver business value Must be independent and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environment Qualifications + 5 years of relevant professional experience using Java Proficiency in development with Java, SpringBoot, REST APIs Experience in working with databases – NoSQL and/or Relational Comfortable with Agile operating models (Scrum/Kanban) Must be independent and comfortable in a fast paced, ambiguous and often multi-directional work environment Strong analytical skills, energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated, strong communication skills At Talan, we invest in our employees' well-being and empower them with benefits, including: 💵 The salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$130,000 💸401(k) retirement plan with company matching 🌴15 days of paid vacation per year at hire and up to 27 according to seniority (annual untaken vacation days are cashed out) 📴8 paid holidays + 5 sick days + 2 personal days per year ❤️🩹Company health, dental, and vision insurance plans + FSA 🦺Voluntary STD and LTD All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
