On Site PRN Pharmacist Home Delivery role at Actalent Job Description Pharmacists will perform various duties related to the fulfillment of Home Delivery prescription orders. Dispense any or all of the following: Blood pressure, Asthma, some Chemotherapy medications, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Direct pharmacy employees engaged in mixing, packaging, labeling, and making changes to prescription orders. Ensure the accuracy and efficient fulfillment of prescription orders. Fill and verify Mail Order prescriptions. Uses pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise. Works exclusively within a specific knowledge area. Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines. Dispense medications and provide support and counseling to nursing facility staff on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Advise physicians about medication therapy. Essential Skills Pharmacy Pharmacist license in the State of FL Attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Strong oral and written communication skills Leadership abilities to coordinate and direct pharmacy staff Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy Retail pharmacy experience in a high-volume Long-term or closed-door pharmacy experience as a Pharmacist preferred, but not required Work Environment A Shift – Sun-Thurs 3p-11:30pm B Shift – Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm Job Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Health Care Provider Industries: Business Consulting and Services Job Type & Location: Contract position based out of Oviedo, FL.
