Senior Backend Software Engineer, Global E-Commerce Supply Chain - USDSResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable backend services for core supply chain and logistics platforms (warehousing, inventory, transportation).Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive improvements in supply chain efficiency and business outcomes.Drive service performance, reliability, and data security at scale.Mentor engineers and set best practices in system design, coding, testing, and operations.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.At least 5 years of experience building large‑scale backend services with Java, Go, Python, or C++.Strong experience with backend infrastructure components such as message queues, caches, or job schedulers.Proven ability to design and deliver high‑availability, high‑performance, and scalable distributed systems.Preferred QualificationsExperience leading projects in supply chain, logistics, or e‑commerce systems.Experience architecting complex systems and translating business requirements into technical designs.Track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.Strong ownership and ability to lead cross‑functional projects through ambiguity.About TikTokTikTok is the leading destination for short‑form mobile video. Base pay is one part of the total package, and the role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
