Job Title: Robotics Technician

Job Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Location : Onsite in Chattanooga, TN

Work Authorization: USC OR GC

Pay Rate: $30-35/hr

Shift hours: 2nd and 3rd shift openings only.

  • Continental Shift - Rotating 12-hour shifts with 3-day and 4-day weeks (Opportunity for 8 hours of overtime a week on a continental schedule).
  • Regular Shift- Opportunity for 8 hours a month with M-F Schedule.

Interview process: One-and-done -> Interview onsite with Technical Lead and Paint Manager



A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.

Requirements:

  • Experience independently disassembling and reassembling ABB robotic arms
  • Experience troubleshooting system configuration and programming ABB robots
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to recalibrate, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing for fluid delivery adjustments

Day-to-Day:

The Paint Coordinator will be responsible for the maintenance of robotic painting equipment for a supplier in the automotive industry. This individual will report to the Technical Manager and be responsible for troubleshooting, recalibrating, and basic programming for the 16 ABB robots in the paint department. The team is looking for an individual who will be performing 80% mechanical repairs and 20% programming software repairs. This individual must ensure a smooth supply chain for the department by driving solutions for the robotic systems and operators.
