Description

We are growing and looking for a Brake Press Operator for our University Park, IL, location.

This position will set up and operate machines listed in this Press Brake / Roll category. Must have the ability to maintain production rates and read manufacturing prints.

Requirements

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a 100% safe manner and adhere to all Tricon EHS guidelines.
  • Interpret manufacturing prints.
  • Understand basic math and use of measuring devices.
  • Be able to use cranes, rigging, and other associated equipment.
  • Understand metal press forming concepts.
  • Determine bends or rolls & verify dimensions from drawings/prints.
  • Conduct appropriate quality checks of material and equipment.
  • Able to perform preventative maintenance on the press machine.
  • Determine correct machine settings and tolerances.
  • Overtime may be expected.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar job
  • Ability to handle physical workload

Open Shifts:

1st Shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
