Job DescriptionJob Description

Hours: 2pm - 10:30pm

BASIC POSITION DUTIES:

  • The CMM Associate will be responsible for the execution of tasks to ensure our products meet or exceed specified quality standards.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine for precision.
  • Evaluate CMM/Part Inspection Data for accuracy.
  • Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts for product specifications such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions.
  • Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed specified dimensional requirements.
  • Provide CMM and other measurement data for accuracy.
  • Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and properly calibrated

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School plus 2 years Vocational Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Field preferred.  Pro-link experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in Automotive/Industrial environment in testing.

SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Working knowledge of inspection/quality principles.
  • Strong written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and promote a team environment.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality System standards.
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry and physics in high or college.
  • Knowledge of basic SPC principles.
