O’Melveny has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for our business professional roles. This role will develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, elevate the candidate experience, and leverage data to shape recruitment strategies in a high-performance environment. This role may be based in any of our East Coast offices. The salary range in NYC/DC for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for our business professional positions across multiple departments. Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, ensuring consistency and effective communication while providing input to ensure our business professional teams consist of highly qualified individuals. Maintain accurate records and reporting using ATS and HR systems. Deliver a high-touch candidate experience, maintaining clear communication from initial contact through onboarding transition. Collaborate with HR partners on process improvements, compliance requirements, and external agency/vendor management. Ensure recruiting practices and job postings comply with local transparency and regulatory requirements. Manage relationships and contracts with external recruitment vendors. Drive special projects to evaluate and enhance recruitment strategies and approaches, including market research and competitive analysis to inform hiring decisions. Qualifications 5 to 7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with a focus on recruiting business professional roles in a law firm or professional services environment. Proven success managing both high-volume and specialized searches across multiple departments and regions. Proficiency with applicant tracking and HR systems (such as viRecruit, Workday, LinkedIn, or similar) and experience with data reporting and analytics. Skilled at building relationships with stakeholders and guiding hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
