Key Responsibilities


  • Accurately estimate the total cost of HVAC projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and time.
  • Review bid documents and drawings to determine project scope.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings to gather information and clarify project details.
  • Evaluate design options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of estimates and project details.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals.


Qualifications


  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or mechanical systems industry.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to evaluate design options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with estimation software and tools.
