Our approach to physical therapy includes direct involvement with each patient, combining advanced hands-on techniques with patient education and individualized rehabilitative programs. Each of our therapists has training in a wide variety of traditional techniques and many also have training in non-traditional treatment methods. We re Helping Patients Who Have:
Orthopaedic and sports injuries
Gait training
Balance training, fractures, sprains and dislocations
Musculoskeletal dysfunctions
Neck and back pain
Neurological disorders (such as stroke and Parkinsons)
Balance and fall prevention
Bone and joint diseases
Hand injuries
Workplace injuries
Pelvic floor dysfunction
Incontinence
Pulmonary rehabilitation

Typical patient ratio: br>
This traveler will be able to provide evaluations and treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for patients with varying diagnoses including post operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis issues, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues.

New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after

Non-Billable Orientation: 0hrs
OT: NO MULTIPLIER. OT paid at flat hourly rate
Holiday*** Call-Back multipliers: 1.25%

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
2 years CURRENT PT experience - Required (New grads will not be considered for this need)
Must be flexible - Will need to work Inpatient PT as needed
Must have VERTIGO experience (LSVT BIG Certification preferred)
Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy - Required
Previous Rehab Experience - Required
Previous travel experience - REQUIRED - At least 3 mos.
CPSI EMR experience - Highly Preferred
Previous experience working with PTA's - Preferred

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Springfield Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Springfield, VT. The hospital is celebrating its 105th anniversary in 2019, and offers 24-hour emergency care, general surgery services, a hospitalist program, and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including an Adult Day Program, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation services. Medical specialties include ear, nose and throat; cosmetic & reconstructive surgery, urology and psychiatry. Specialty clinics for cardiology, medical oncology, and infusion services are provided in collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Cheshire Hospital. A comprehensive program of inpatient psychiatric services is offered at The Windham Center, a ten-bed inpatient facility, located in Bellows Falls, VT.
