*Position Title: Respiratory Therapist *

*Minimum Qualifications*
* Certification(s): Current AHA BLS certification required. AHA ACLS & PALS required with-in 6
* Minimum 2 years' experience of full-time Respiratory
* Minimum 2 years of full-time Respiratory Care experience.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Board of Medical Examiners
* General supervisor of point of care, Clinical laboratory technologist, Blood gas technician, blood gas technologist required within 6 months of hire
* Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.

*Summary*
The Registered Respiratory Therapist position requires a skilled professional with core competencies in critical care experience, airway management, basic life support, and respiratory therapy. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and acute care practices. Premium skills in hospital medicine and experience in the PICU setting are highly valued. Additionally, relevant skills in geriatrics will be beneficial in providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The successful candidate must hold certifications in PALS, BLS, ACLS, and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This role involves working closely with patients in a hospital setting, utilizing ventilator support, conducting patient assessments, and providing quality care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

*Responsibilities*
- Provide respiratory therapy to patients in critical care settings
- Manage airways and ventilators for patients requiring respiratory support
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology in patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize skills in acute care and hospital medicine to provide comprehensive respiratory care
- Demonstrate proficiency in handling geriatric patients with respiratory conditions
- Maintain certifications including PALS, BLS, ACLS, and RRT to ensure high-quality care provision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
