Join us in our mission to shape the future of gaming We are currently seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to support our store team during peak sales periods. This role focuses on delivering outstanding guest service while participating in the daily operations of the store. The ideal candidate will prioritize customer satisfaction and be available to work during busy seasonal sales days. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests promptly, assisting with their gaming needs, recommending additional products, and thanking every guest for choosing GameStop. Support the overall shopping atmosphere by contributing to store sales initiatives and maintaining a visually appealing environment throughout the holiday season. Collaborate with the team to ensure cleanliness and organization across all areas of the store, including restrooms. Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, ensuring all products are well-displayed and organized on the selling floor. Work with the store team to achieve sales, profit, and inventory goals. Address guest questions and concerns promptly and courteously, escalating issues to a store keyholder as needed. Practice effective inventory control and loss prevention measures, demonstrating awareness of safety protocols. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, ethical responsibilities, and attendance. QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous retail sales or customer service experience is a plus. KEY JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Capability to follow instructions in various forms, including written and verbal. Outgoing personality with strong customer service skills. Genuine and friendly interaction with every guest during their visit. Clear verbal communication and listening skills; bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are preferred. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Meet attendance and professional appearance standards. Physically able to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods, and lift merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs. Reliable and trustworthy.
