Schnabel was formed in 1959 as a foundation engineering and construction company in business to design and build excavation support and specialized foundation systems. We still do that today. We have grown from a single office in Washington, DC to include nine offices from coast-to-coast where we now employ over 40 professional engineers who design and manage the construction projects in those offices.

**Job Description**

Pile Driver Foreman coordinates and directs crews installing piles, lagging, walers, braces, etc. for excavation support.

***Job Responsibilities***

* Directs and coordinates crews installing piles, lagging, walers, braces, etc. for excavation support.

* Layout work

**Qualifications**

* Ability to operate a surveying instrument with the ability to shoot elevations and straight lines

* Experience working with pile driving and drilling equipment

* Proficient welding, cutting of steel members

* Local travel as required for projects

* Member of a Pile Drivers or Carpenters Union or willing to join the union
