OverviewThe Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. This individual conducts general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures as assigned. The Radiologic Technologist performs procedures that will require independent judgment—with ingenuity and initiative—to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. He/she assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. The Radiologic Technologist provides appropriate age-specific patient care to the following patient populations: infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric.This position is sign on bonus eligible: VariesResponsibilitiesExecute radiographic procedures (general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable) and maintain quality imaging with appropriate radiation safety. Exercise independent judgment in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
