*Responsibilities*
* *Triage and Assessment: *Perform rapid assessments of patients' conditions upon arrival, prioritize care based on urgency, and initiate interventions as necessary.
* *Treatment and Intervention: *Administer medications, start intravenous lines, perform wound care, and assist with emergency procedures such as intubation or CPR as directed by the medical team.
* *Monitoring and Documentation: *Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, response to treatment, and document all assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
* *Collaboration: *Work closely with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
* *Patient Education: *Provide clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their healthcare needs.
* *Crisis Management: *Remain calm and efficient in high-stress situations, including resuscitations, trauma care, and other emergencies, while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
* *Equipment and Supply Management: *Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are readily available, properly maintained, and stocked for use in urgent situations
