Position Description: Designs and architects Cloud native applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Promotes the development of Web-based applications, Restful APIs, GraphQL APIs using Java, Spring boot, NodeJS, JavaScript, and front-end UI technologies (Angular). Drives growth and customer success by presenting ideas and assisting decision makers to understand the benefits of architectural solutions. Implements process improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments using Agile methodologies. Services customers by building digital capabilities using Cloud computing processes (infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data). Draws on in-depth knowledge of the business or function to provide business unit-wide solutions by developing complex, multi-faceted software applications. Researches and recommends new technologies in support of the strategic direction of the business unit and participates in the research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods, tools, and technologies to achieve business-unit-wide solutions.Primary Responsibilities: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) developing and designing Web services and application integration solutions using Java Spring, middle-tier integration tools, and Cloud services -- Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure. Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) developing and designing Web services and application integration solutions using Java Spring, middle-tier integration tools, and Cloud services -- Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.Skills and Knowledge: DE in all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) -- gathering and analyzing requirements and performing application solution design and development-- using Java technologies, Spring Boot, Python, NodeJS, Kafka, -- in Linux environment; and performing software application testing to meet functional and non-functional requirements according to Agile methodologies.
