* Perform PET/CT and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
* Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
* Operate and maintain PET/CT and CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
* Accurately position patients and apply appropriate imaging techniques to obtain optimal results.
* Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.
* Adhere to all safety protocols, radiation safety regulations, and infection control procedures.
* Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in imaging technology and techniques.
*Qualifications:*
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
* ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
* State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in PET/CT and CT imaging.
* Strong knowledge of PET/CT and CT imaging procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
* Excellent patient care and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze images for quality.
* Proficiency in using radiology information systems (RIS) and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
