Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual and Automation)Job Type: Contract (1 year+)Location: New Brunswick, NJ (Locals Only)Exp required: 10+Client is seeking a QA Engineer with both Manual and Automation experience for a new application development project in a fast‑paced, agile environment. The ratio of manual testing will be higher initially, however the ultimate goal is to automate most of the testing, so that ratio will change as the project progresses, to more automated testing and less manual testing. A successful candidate will have a long‑term vision and the ability to plan and execute it, along with the enthusiasm to work on a brand new yet complex product.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentation based on the requirements and technical specificationsInterpret and implement quality assurance standardsEnsure data integrity standardsPlan, develop, execute, maintain and improve Automated Test Frameworks and Automated Test Scripts for Web and Database applicationsIdentify areas for improvement in the quality systemAccurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verify bug fixesCoordinate UAT and other testing related tasks with Business and other IT departmentsIdentify process and application issues and provide suggestions to improveLearn new technologies and adapt to them as neededIdentify and deploy automation solutions based on changing project needsQualificationsExtensive Manual testing experienceExtensive experience with Automation testing using SeleniumExtensive experience testing various Web ServicesExperience with PythonExperience with Fiddler or PostmanMust be able to write SQL QueriesComprehensive knowledge and understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, RDBMS and MS Office5+ years of Manual Black Box/Gray Box software testing experience3+ years of Automation testing experienceExperience in Agile methodologies a plusMust be able to write test plans, test cases, and other test artifactsMust be able to prepare test dataExperience with JIRA and HP QC/ALM a plusExperience in performance testing is a plusPython and Kendo UI knowledge a plusExcellent communication and people skillsCollege degree or equivalent level of experience preferredRegardsAvinashavi (at) scoutet (dot) com609 303 2211Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
