We are committed to providing safe, supportive, and life-enriching environments—and we are looking for compassionate LVNs who share our mission and values.Job SummaryThe Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) supports the health and well-being of individuals by administering medications, performing nursing procedures, monitoring health conditions, and advocating for individuals in alignment with their Individual Program Plans (IPP).Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications following the Five Rights of Medication AdministrationPerform nursing procedures including injections (IM, insulin), g-tube feedings, colostomy care, wound care, and breathing treatmentsMonitor and assess individuals for changes in behavior, health status, or signs of infectionTake and document vital signs and conduct basic head-to-toe assessmentsAttend medical appointments and communicate changes or concerns with physiciansSupport individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as neededRespond appropriately to behavioral episodes using CPI techniquesComplete daily documentation and report incidents or concernsParticipate in community outings and activities with individualsPerform other related duties as assignedRequirementsActive California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License (required)Minimum 1 year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilitiesCPR/First Aid and CPI certification (required)Must be 21 years of age or olderValid California Driver’s LicenseAbility to pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background checkBenefitsFull-Time Benefits Include:Medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, and supplemental insurance optionsHSA, Health Care FSA & Dependent Care FSAPaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) (Pre-Tax) & Roth optionsDayforce Wallet – Daily PayEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee discount programTuition discounts through Capella UniversityPart-Time Benefits Include:Sick TimeDayforce Wallet – Daily PayEAPEmployee discount programTuition discounts through Capella UniversityAdditional InformationRedwood Family Care Network maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse or neglect.
