Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assisting duties during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients and assisting the dentist as needed.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to effectively communicate with the dental team and patients.
- Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe dental environment, including sterilizing dental tools and environmental cleaning techniques.
- Operate X-Ray equipment following radiation health and safety guidelines to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize Eaglesoft to accurately document patient information and treatment plans.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy is maintained at all times.
- Take vital signs and assist with surgical sedation procedures as required.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures.
- Utilize communication skills to effectively interact with patients, explain procedures, and address any concerns they may have.

Must be X-ray Certified in the state of Maryland, as well as a Certified Dental Assistant.
