The Emergency Room Nurse will manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems, providing support, education, and comfort to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening problems
  • Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families
  • Close communication with all members of the healthcare team
  • Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing
  • Perform various medical procedures, including IV insertion, intubation, and medicine administration
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current RN license for the state of employment (or willingness to obtain)
  • 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association
