Role Overview As a Principal Associate Process Manager supporting Capital One Reliability Engineering, you will help manage and support the resilience testing process. You will document, monitor and control critical process points as defined by technical requirements, and associated policies and standards. You will educate and gain buy‑in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross‑functional initiatives and projects. Effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas and organizational levels. Drive and motivate others to deliver consistent execution and identify, document, and implement process improvement opportunities. Navigate regulatory requirements and manage process controls to maintain a well‑managed process. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide resilience program‑ and plan‑level reporting and documentation to inform, educate, and influence stakeholders. Ensure alignment of technology capabilities with documented policies, standards, and procedures. Apply quality and content standards through collaboration with technology teams, including exercise facilitation, results documentation, reporting, and development/delivery of training and educational materials. Establish and communicate metrics‑based reporting regarding resilience testing activities, including success criteria, lessons learned, defined KPIs/KRIs, and continuous improvement opportunities. Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance data management practices, processes, controls, and validations. Develop and maintain formal process documentation, including procedures and process flow diagrams. Work with team members to develop robust risk management processes. Analyze data and influence others to proactively identify data risks and trends. Consultation and representation of well‑managed processes, customer experience, and risk management for new initiatives. Partner with Product, Technology, and Intent Owners to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions. Collect data and information to provide transparency to senior leadership on the health of the process. Identify and implement process improvements. Track and resolve process breakdowns, issues and risk events. Create and validate processes. Design and produce metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness. Drive process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 3 years of Process or Risk Management experience. At least 1 year of Continual Improvement experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 4+ years of Process Management experience. 2+ years of Resilience or Disaster Recovery planning. 2+ years of Testing experience. 1+ years of Project Management experience. 1+ years of experience working with Product and Technology teams. Compensation Chicago, IL: $93,400 - $106,600 for Principal Process Manager. McLean, VA: $102,700 - $117,200 for Principal Process Manager.
