Job Summary: The Surgical Technician is a caregiver who assists the OR team in the scrub role during surgical/invasive procedures and assists in the preparation of the surgical suite area between cases. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and supplies on the sterile field.

Department: Main Operating Room Location: Englewood Status: Full-Time Shift: Days, 12 hours Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm

Job Essentials:

1 year of Surgical Tech experience in an acute hospital setting preferred. Cardiac OR experience preferred. Will to train a new Surgical Technologists with certification.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

License/Certification/Registry:

CST required
