Seeking an individual with great organizational skills, communication skills and enjoys working with a team The Clinic Manager is responsible for providing management oversight to the Hastings Family Care clinic.
Job duties include:
- Plans, organizes and coordinates the daily operation of the medical clinic including: operational workflow, staffing, providers schedules, performance management, employee development, insurance information usage, finances, record maintenance, etc.
- Recommends and builds business cases to support the ongoing budgetary needs (equipment /supplies) of the clinic. Monitors budgetary performance on a monthly basis for variances and manages to budget on a yearly basis.
- Interviews/selects all clinic employees, provides training and orientation as needed.
- Develops work schedules, arranges job assignments, and supervises employees work performance. Monitors work production, makes adjustments or recommendations as appropriate.
- Assists in the evaluation of employees, provides direction and counseling including discipline involvement as needed; ensures fair, compassionate and equal treatment of all employees according to hospital / departmental policies and practices; provides employee communication through staff meetings, etc.
- Communicates with director regarding clinic operation, patient visits / services, insurance / billing status, employee performance and morale, facility condition and safety, etc. as needed on a regular basis.
- Communications and administers hospital and clinic policies and procedures related to the operation of the clinic.
- Maintains clinic files and record system.
- Attends and participates in departmental meetings / inservices, Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare quality improvement programs, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Education: Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or Healthcare required (Bachelors/Masters preferred).
Experience: 6 years' experience in general management preferred. An emphasis on healthcare management preferred.
