Piper Health Sciences is seeking a BIM/CAD Drafter to join a consulting engineering firm in Baltimore, MD. The BIM/CAD Drafter will use CAD programs to create technical drawings.

 

Responsibilities of the BIM/CAD Drafter include:

  • Effectively use CAD programs to design technical drawings
  • Draw blueprint drawings, floor plans, and mechanical drawings
  • Design technical drawings of different interior spaces, including staircases, walls, doors, and railings
  • Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to create drawings of buildings
  • Understand federal, state, and local building codes.

Qualifications for the BIM/CAD Drafter include:

  • 1+ year of experience using AutoCAD
  • Previous experience using CAD or BIM programs
  • Knowledge of forms and procedures of the engineering and construction industry
  • Previous experience with drafting floor plans, blueprints, or mechanical drawings
  • GED required

Compensation for the BIM/CAD Drafter includes:

  • Salary Range: $22 - $25 Per Hour **depending on experience**
  • Full Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k
  • Perks: Hybrid, PTO
