Mechanical AssemblerWe currently have a full-time Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler with a customer in Warren, OH who has established themselves as pioneers in their field for delivering cutting-edge induction technology and equipment to steel manufacturers worldwide.In this position, you will be working in a modern full-service fabrication and machine shop performing all functions and operations necessary to build or repair welded metal fabrications, inductors, brazed components, buss work, sub-assemblies, and fixture assemblies.Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am, 10-12 hour daysPay: $18 - $22/hourResponsibilities:Layout and build mechanical sub-assemblies including transformers, inductors, bus network, switches, etc.Insulate, tape, clean and paint sub-assemblies and complete assemblies as required.Air or water check sub-assemblies or assemblies as required.Layout, prepare, and assemble all mechanical and electrical components into cabinets and panels in accordance with drawings and shop practices and procedures.Perform cutouts on cabinets as required.Interconnect and wire all components in accordance with schematics, engineering orders, and shop practices and procedures.Cut, machine, thread, drill, etc., plates, shapes, bars, pipe, etc., of either metal or non-metallic materials.Hose and pipe all water-cooled equipment in accordance with schematics.Perform minor maintenance and clean up on machines as required.Requirements:1 year of experience in a Mechanical Assembly Occupation (Required)High-School diploma or equivalent.
