Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 38 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $20.50 | Year 5 - $21.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Provide valuable product feedback to management, including suggestions for new items or discontinuations. Discuss resource allocation and delegate tasks effectively to your team. Communicate updates and information regularly to leadership. Oversee adherence to customer satisfaction guidelines and maintain a clean store environment. Resolve customer concerns promptly when management is unavailable. Ensure safety for all by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment. Merchandise products neatly, ensuring proper signage and product freshness. Assist in taking inventory counts and supervise adherence to product handling guidelines. Support product ordering as necessary, especially in the absence of management. Ensure compliance with cash control policies to minimize losses. Lead your peers in project tasks, acting as the initial point of contact. Model job responsibilities and performance expectations for your team. Assist in training new employees and contributed to ongoing team development. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older for employment. Deliver excellent customer service promptly and courteously. Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy. Safely operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jacks and scrubbers. Perform general cleaning to maintain company standards. Interpret and apply company policies effectively. Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Handle basic administrative duties competently, including form-filling and basic math. Pay attention to detail and follow instructions closely. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Understand management principles related to budgeting and expenses. Build rapport, trust, and open communication to enhance team performance. Organize, prioritize, and multitask professionally and efficiently. Utilize store computers and related programs competently. Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. Physical Demands: This role requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store. You should be able to stock merchandise from receiving areas to shelves and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
